April Wier

Sponsors Team Leader
April loves iced coffee, Hall and Oates, snuggling with her little boy, and WordPress. Not necessarily in that order. She runs Sugar Five Design, a digital strategy company in Woodstock, GA. She helps high-performers reach their goals online via web design, branding, strategy, and SEO. A regular meetup attendee, she is a co-organizer of The Marietta WordPress Meetup. This is her second year on the WordCamp organizing team.

In his spare time, Daniel loves hanging out with his family, playing a round of golf, listening to some jazz, writing blog material, and working on his podcast.

Mallie Hart

Social Media Team Leader
When she’s not smashing a tennis ball, swinging kettlebells or snapping her fingers along with one of her favorite indie rock tunes, Mallie spends most of her daylight hours creating and maintaining branded and visual social media campaigns for a variety of businesses and organizations. The little blue bird is her favorite, but she’s comfortable working with any of the big six (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest, Instagram & Google+) social media sites and has tested campaigns on too many platforms to count.

She’s got a snarky way with words, which you can check out on her blog.

You can schedule posts, you can’t schedule interaction and connection! Connect with Mallie on Twitter if you want to get to know her ASAP.

Mickey Mellen

Speakers Team Leader
“Thought leader” is one of those accolades that many aspire to, but few deserve. Mickey is the real thing –– a widely acknowledged thought leader in the WordPress space. He follows more than 500 blogs to stay current on every aspect of digital media. He’s also a sought-after teacher, sharing his expertise across Metro Atlanta on all aspects of technology, social media and analytics through monthly WordPress-focused Meetups and other gatherings of experts and learners. He’s competitive but generous as he helps others develop their skills. Along the way, he has retained the stamina and determination of the long-distance runner he used to be.

Away from his three-screen workstation, he coaches his daughter’s soccer team, plays softball and enjoys ice cream with his wife, Kelly, and their two girls.

You can find him on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or LinkedIn, among others.

Nicky Pink

Nicky grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, making her a true Yooper. She spent 20 years in New York, and now lives in Atlanta with her teenage daughter and her Goldendoodle called Kevin. You can also find Nicky on Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.
